Thursday Update

So today Jordan and I went and bought some wheels to film with for my skateboard. That should be nice. I'm awaiting the arrival of my Opteka Baby Death. It will be nice to hook up and start using.



On a side note, buy Jordan's Panasonic GS80 w/ fisheye and wide lens. $160! He's about to pick up a GS320 & Bescor light. That should be pretty dialed.

First Edit

This edit was the first time we have ever got a chance to get our hands on a camera for an amount of time. It was filmed with just a single chip camera and edited in movie maker ha. We are upgrading and hope to keep coming through with some stuff for you to watch. This was filmed over the course of a few weeks.

Welcome to High Zoot Parachute

The first thing you are probably wondering is what is up with the name? Well the name has no correlation to anything that will probably happen on this blogspot. After all, what is a name? It's simply in fact just a name. You could have the greatest name for something, but if it doesn't produce, entertain, or serve some sort of purpose nobody will care what it's called. Same with if it does. People will check out this blogspot simply because they enjoy it, not because of what it's called. Sorry to drag that out, just needed to clarify and elimate the remarks of what a retard name.

Moving on, this blogspot was created through an idea of me(woody) and Jordan. We had the idea to start filming bmx and making little edits. From day one it was fun to just get out an film and begin learning new things and whatnot. After buying a cheap camera, we decided maybe we should go together and focus more on learning some basics and taking it more serious, but still continue to have fun with it.

I have picked up a GS320 and baby death, and Jordan will be picking up another 320 also. We both figure affordable 3ccd cameras and learning how to use them to their full potential will have a good enough outcome for what we wish to do. We are not some internet group wanting to make a full lenght bmx video, imax movie, porno, etc... Were just here to make a few edits, film some random controversial topics, let people talk shit, and record the crazy and funny events that happen in our life on the daily.

We are both aware of the tons of bmx blogspots, sites, magazines, and whatnot out there. This is souly for documenting our work and our progression, but at the same time sharing with everyone to see. Everyone always has something to hate on about someone or something, but never does anything about it. We feel the best way to showcase talent among our scene, humor, opinions, etc... is to take things in your own hands and portray it yourself. Not follow what others are doing and being stuck in their shadows.

In conclusion, hope you enjoy looking at this place. We hope to make some sort of edit of riding, crack bums dancing, or some sort of tom foolery. Holler!
